anybody who has advise on this would be greatly appreciated!
If you don't have any pipped eggs and the hatched ones are dry, you can remove them quickly.

If the chicks are fully fluffy and there are no pips on the eggs, quickly take out the fluff balls and put them into the brooder. Remember to raise the humidity right after. Maybe with a face cloth with water on it.
Congrats on the chickies!!

I have one that APPEARS to have internally pipped, but I hear no chirping from the egg. I do hear a click click noise. Should I help? That last silkie that died, I though it had internally pipped but it hadn't. I don't want this one to die.

Well, I had to add more water to my sponges (Have to open up to do it because of where they are in the bator) and I checked the air sacs real quick, they are all in perfect shape, still in tact, and all babies are still moving around from what I could see in the amount of time I used. It go awfully steamy in the bathroom (I turned on the bathtub to bring the humidity in the room up)

Praying to get something in the morning...I'll try not look look through the glass anymore tonight (hahaha, yeah right!)

It's probably internally pipped. They make a "clicking" sound while they breathe with their heads against their bodies. It could also be them trying to chip away at the shell. You should be able to tell for sure by candling it.

Don't help. The clicking sound is normal. If there still isn't an external pip in 12 hours, then you can make a breathing hole.

Good Luck with your hatch!

and everyone knows that you will be checking the incubator, haha. We all do!

I know I have plenty of time, but I thought for sure a couple eggs would hatch early, because of how they were in the eggs when I candled them before lockdown...

I came home from Easter Dinner and almost cried because there has been no action yet...I was hoping SOMETHING would happen during Easter...but it's ok, since tonight/tomorrow is supposed to be hatch day...

Here's an update on my end.

All 5 eggs have been opened and all 5 chicks are now breathing. CO2 levels rose very high before I decided to internally pip for them.

Only one of them was able to internally pip on it's own, and he was drowning in fluid. There was fluid in his mouth and nostrils and he was "coughing". The only time that I've seen so much yellow fluid at once was when Goosey broke her yolk sac. I think he broke his yolk sac, but there is absolutely nothing that I can do right now. The blood vessels are simply too active. I took Q tips and started absorbing the excess fluid and I accidentally broke a large vein. I smeared on antibiotic ointment and added some flour to stop the bleeding and it worked.

All of these chicks are extremely weak. It really makes me wonder about the condition of the hens. They aren't even peeping... I have never seen such weak chicks and I have hatched a LOT of chicks.
