Humidity is 65%...I have to mist the eggs to get it higher because I have no more room on the bator bottom...this is what is exposed as of 11am Eastern time: so that was a few hours ago...trying not to open the bator again unless I have to mist again.
ok this egg bothers me! check that membrane and make sure that chick can breath and that its not watered at that little slit! I am afraid he will die suffocation from water spray sealing it off again! use a sterile tweezers and open that white it a tad.

Ok...can you tell me how to do this...I know I can read it, but I need to be walked through it...I can't do anything for at least 45 minutes when my littlest one goes to bed...

Went out to coop earlier and found one of my buffs was unable to hold its neck up! What can this be? Is there anything I can do for her? She looks so sad.

just pull that flap a tad so there is a tiny hole that's all, make sure its still alive and chirping

I opened the flap a little, and I thought he tried to poke his beak through, but I don't know if it was my mind playing tricks on me..he didn't chirp at me at all...

I dabbed the membrane with a damp paper towel too...

edited to add that he is alive and moving, looks like he wants to start zipping....maybe soon...
