I just love that avatar of yours!  I think you did a wonderful job helping her, I would have written the same! :clap
Thats my lovely old lazy dog coco, Just joined about a week ago. I hate leaving people like that who just need someone to talk to, so glad you think it was good advice :)

Hatch final count is 7 seramas and 1 silkie that I think is a mix. I put 10 serama eggs into lockdown and 7 hatched. These were shipped saddle cell eggs too. I think that is pretty good. I'll get pics up soon.

Oh wait, you're incubating duck eggs. I would weigh them once a week and also before lockdown. So if you set the eggs on a Friday, than weigh them every Friday and before you put them into lockdown.

Also have one more question my hen that just hatched her chicks(only 2) is now sitting again. I took the chicks from her bc I didn't have anywhere to put her and the chicks separate so I put them with my chicks that hatched in the incubator. She's now sitting again on eggs... Could this be bc I took away her baby's?
How old are the chicks? It's not uncommon for a hen to wean her chicks early (after 5-7 weeks) and immediately start sitting on the next batch. I had a hen that did that over and over.
