I told DH... look at my problem this way, although I hatch a lot I am getting $5. each silkie chick and at least $3. for a cochin chick. It only takes one egg to make a chick, so we do the math and I make a few bucks here and there which is ALOT more bucks than selling Farm Fresh Eggs for sure!

But I have found, everyone wants silkies chicks not cochin chicks, but reverse that with hatching eggs, why? who knows!

Soooo only time will tell with my brahma, spitz, serama and WFS!

I WILL ADD.....

I DO NOT want to get into the chick business at all! Chick starter is expensive and mass chicks eat alot even on FF.
I seriously do see this end, soon!

That's why I will add turkey eggs this weekend to the bator. AT least until next year!

I do not mean this in any weird way but if i was born in america i would love to have grown up in your house, everything you have going on right now is what i want to have set up in about 10 yrs after i do my travelling, maybe il buy a house next to Sumi and we can set up an Ireland BYC operation. Lol BBC back bog chickens haha

this summer i wont be bored !! moving and helping sis with baby number 6 ... the kids love to set up and help with hatching though so next sumer will be fun !!!
