an over eager township cop from a task force to catch drunk drivers stepped up the racial profiling and decided to question my passenger over his immigration status.

when the said passenger could not produce a passport or green card, he decided to arrest him (not his jurisdiction, not a crime either), I told the fine PA officer of the law that I too am a foreigner and I too only have a driver's license. So he then proceeded to arrest and cuff me for obstruction of justice!

i suggested he may have long term financial impact based on his actions. anyways, he dragged us into the warren police station at 1am, called immigration, went a shade paler, told us to wait uncuffed in the waiting room. he then ledt through the back door. we saw his tail lights, realized he skedaddled and we ledt

i am just a hardened farm boy amongst all you incredible soft people who i learn so much from

Usually I am just like you oz. But as it was staring at me while I was helping it and it was chirping, I turned into a softy. Actually this whole process, 4 hatches later has made me soft. I have put animals down before, I have even artificially inseminated a cow before on my grandads farm in Oklahoma. But hatching these dang birds is what got me.

I think this has been an exhausting day. I think I am comfortable letting it sit in its shell and waiting until morning. I know that there is a possibility for infection but I simply would rather it die on its own than in my hands. Although I HATE the thought of it suffering and I hope it isn't. I am still not 100% sure the yolk sac is ruptured since I have never seen one before. I think I should just wait… you can tell me otherwise but please look at these pics first.

its hard when you run into stuff for the first time, emotions run high. BREATHE!!! get some rest and we all will pray for the chicky and pray for my two frozen chicks too!
