So annoyed!
I thought everyone of my themp gages are inaccurate accept two are pretty much reading the same! So I did the calibrating test. And one reads +6.8c another 0.8 c and another 1.7c. Erghhh! So now I'm thinking my eggs are going to be well late!!
Or early?? God it's all confusing with kids around me!!!

Hi,

I have another for sure batch coming next week of BBS Cochin and Cochin x's and plan to purchase another set of hatching eggs Monday that will be beautiful Wheaten/Blue Wheaten Am's, BBSC Marans and Olive eggers! For a total of 36+ eggs! You fine people have turned me slowly into a hatch a holic and can't wait to get them, just praying the P.O. Workers are easy on them! These will be shipping from farther than my last two shipments, with those shipments the eggs looked great.

Anyway, off to read back a few pages in this thread to see what's going on, I am on the incubators anonymous thread and thought I would pop over here per it being mentioned.

but dont tell my sister ....this is last hatch before i go to head out ...
Ha!

Quote: No I just put a small, shallow dish with water in there for them. They like to play with their water and wet their food in there when they eat. They'll grab some chick crumbs and straight to the water bowl with it. Really cute to watch, but they make an awful mess of the water very quickly!

Hello everyone-
I will be lurking here for a while learning what I can so that I can start hatching in a couple months!!!
YAY! There she is!!!

this is a dangerous place to lurk when contemplating hatching lol that is a certain fact !! lol but a fun place to learn and talk ... sitting around rereading the hatching thread so i have an idea of the difference when doing shipped eggs versus from my own backyard lol
