Hi, I let them sit for for 24 hours big end up before putting them in the incubator and then 6 days without turning in the incubator. I candled at day eight and made notes and 7 were questionable. I candled at day 14 and discarded the 7 questionable ones, they either had blood rings or nothing happened and they were clear. I have been using an auto turner. I believe I have 11 viable eggs right now with no detachment. I do have a couple with saddle shaped cells.Big end has been up. This is my second attempt on hatching. The first didn't turn out so good :( because I followed the instructions on the stryo bator.I really don't want to screw this up :)

I am getting so nervous. Today is day 16 of incubating cream legbars. They are shipped eggs - should I definetly go with the cut down carton for hatching? Any advice is appreciated.
If you feel comfortable hatching upright then by all means do so! In the hatching 101 article "under LOCKDOWN day 18' you will find some info on why you should lay them for hatching with lowest dip in aircell up. Many ppl do hatch all eggs upright though! If you have a loose air cell (meaning sorta jello like when u move it during candling I would hatch upright, if they seem attached just odd air cells you can do either way! Good Luck with your hatch!

am i understanding you correctly?

you put the eggs in the bator 2 hours ago and the temp is still only 32C ?

you may have a problem with the bator or thermometer?

what sort of incubator?

does it have a pilot light and is it on?
