It's the same as chickens so 99.5 degrees for a forced air incubator and 101.5 for a still air.Well... I finally found out where my sneaky duck had been laying her eggs; Behind an old duckhouse. There was a pile of them, and only one duck! Since I couldn't tell how long they had been there, I threw them out. Yesterday, I got 2... Somehow... One duck, one drake, and 2 eggs. I'll never know why she lays 2 eggs a day. LOL. So I ran those two eggs to the bator. 2 questions... I should know this, but I don't; What temp do duck eggs need to be at? And I wanted to do some MORE chickens, so I am going to get some chicken eggs when these duck eggs are 7 days old. So they all go into lockdown at the same time, and it doesn't mess anything up. But anyway, if I want to incubate the duck eggs AND the chicken eggs together, what should I keep the temp at? Right now it's at 100.3 degrees
Thank you! But is it okay for the eggs if I drop the temp down that low? They have been at 100.5 for 3 days. It's the same as chickens so 99.5 degrees for a forced air incubator and 101.5 for a still air.
