OH MY GAWD !!! THAT EMBRYO IS FREAKING ALIVE!!!!

Harmony was right!!! and YES I AM SCREAMING !!! Unbelievable!!!

HUMPTY DUMPTY IS MOVING!!! and boy can you see it without the shell on the lower portion!!

there are NO tears or rips and I purposely kept the papertowel dry so that the membrane stays tough, I figured wet it would weaken..... thoughts?
I am now in alert save the chick mode! unbelievable! I must video tape!! but I will wait to see if it lives until tomorrow first!!!!!

THIS MAY GET INTERESTING!! HOLY CRAP!!!!!!!!!!!! Its moving!!!! Holy broken marans egg!

i dont have chicks - but I do have a pip. One of the SFH should come into the world tonight sometime. I am selling these at 10 bucks a chick and have 15 sold so far. Talking about counting chickens before they hatch.

This Friday is hatch day for Sally's Brahma & Cochin eggs!! I am terribly nervous, and am really praying I won't need any advice or help! Can it just be that simple? We'll see!

Awesome news tonight! The original lady I had talked to about hatching Call Ducklings for me called and has 3 that hatched a couple days ago. I got the 2 from Wingstone, so, now I'll have 5!!! I'm sooo happy! Love these little babies!

But they quack bigger. I'm stickin with scovies.

I think it may indeed be time for Sally to whip out the neosporin. But I still think that i'm getting some parafilm just in case I have to repair another egg.

I am looking for mega scovies. My best bud in the Phils has some and they dont breed that large - lots of inbreeding so we need to increase the genetic diversity. I have 20 scovie chicks with 18 more due this week. My duck population will increase 1200% in 35 days.

I got a french white muscovy from Celtic Oaks Farm (actually I got six eggs from her, but it was before I met Sally, so I only have one duckling). She has them for sale and they are supposed to dress out at 15lb. My flock is dressing out at about 10-12 lb at 6mo.
