Rock are you all unboxed now? I am still waiting to see pics of the coop and the big babies growed up!we missed you!
Oh my gosh...I'm no longer a "new egg". I'm now "just hatched"! Sometimes its the trivial things that matter most.
QUESTION: the chicks that seem to feather really fast? =
Pullets? I have two very distinct feathering going on. Lots of wing feathers on some and hardly any on others... I'll see if I can nab a pic.. I hope this is the case because my ONE Henrietta baby is feathering really nice in the wings and I really want to keep her...it. um...its not a bit odd that my chickens have names right?![]()
I've read from 28-35 days for goose eggs. I'm on day 29 or 30. I keep lifting her up and checking. No pips yet. I'm candling tonight. How long?
What breed are they?
Okay that is funny made me laugh thanks
When did this happen? Has she hatched yet? Good lordHUMPTY is Still ALIVE!!! He actually moved the egg out of its little paper towel nest sometime last night, and that blood looks just like a dot on the dry towel. They entire back side of shell is gone he is sitting on. I sure "isn't" gonna mess with him! I know I am gonna get even more excited and then the little dumpty will croak on me at hatch day. I am amazed, holy crow its actually still alive.
You can do this if anyone can I am sitting here waiting and sending great karma thoughts to the little guy and you
