that is the problem with narcotics - you build up resistance. oxycontin is the next step, then morphine. make sure your anesthesiologist knows that you are taking major narcotics regularly so that he/she can adjust your pain medication regimen

the army and most doctors prescribe them because its easy to scribble the name on a piece of paper.

Percocet is way stronger than Vicodin which in my opinion is very much over prescribed. The FDA is going to severely restrict the use of vicodin and percocet with the year
Actually I've only taken Percocet twice in my life and it did nothing for pain either time. So I have no resistance to it which is why I thought for sure it would work, but nada. Vicodin was prescribed a little over a month ago for a back injury, and it is what is prescribed for treatment of pelvic pain that is awaiting a hysterectomy. It did nothing, or if it did anything it may help for 30 minutes max. I don't take it but maybe once or twice a week when I know I'm going to be hurting. I was referred to pain management but didn't keep the apt. I'd just rather not do that. In my case I just seem to have a tolerance for medication. And If I don't have a tolerance for it then I tend to have a bad reaction to it. I stick to ibuprofen...

I think these are barnyard mutts but they are feathering pretty! Mixed with barred rocks for sure though.

Its amazing how drugs work so differently on different people. If I took a percocet, I would be stoned off my head. Ibuprofen is also my analgesic of choice. Just need to take it with food.

I'm ready to put my chicks outside except for just a few that are a little to young. Most are in the 3 week to 4 week old range. I have a 16x16 area that has plywood all around the bottom with chicken wire up another 5' to keep my barn cats out and two heat lights. The temp is going to be from a low of 48 to highs near 70 for the next week. I have more hatches starting in two days. I need the room. I put 9 of the biggest ones outside about three hours ago. They are huddled right under the light. It's 51 degrees out. Is it to early?
