Sounds like lots of fun! 1cc is for a litre/quart of water, 4cc is for a gallon of water.

Oh crap!!!!! I only put 1cc in there gallon yesterday. There not even finished with that yet. Not very hot is they take forever. I guess when I refill sometime today I will put 4cc in there. Should I do it again since I only put 1cc yesterday?

Morning all!

Finally have my appt. to change from winter to summer tires. Oddly enough temp outside is 0 Celsius and sunny.
Today is day 20 for 22 eggs, 12 with saddle air cells.

I have a question. I keep trying to hatch my BBB eggs and I keep getting to the pea sized disc of blood vessels stage and then nothing. I sent some to emmalyn and she had the same experience. Any thoughts? I think I was sold a very geriatric pair of BBB's. (Buff Brahma Bantams)

Wow. I have been known to put a freshly hatched chick between the girls to keep it warm but and egg for 21 days.

Give your lonely duck a stuffed toy or a feather duster to snuggle to.

HA! I put some fleece scraps in, and he snuggles up and went to sleep! LOL

Why am I losing chicks at the hatch. I just candled and had 8 dead fully formed chicks. That makes 10 total out of this hatch. I had two that hadnt hatched yet but had internally pipped. I started assist and one hasnt absorbed the yolk. Any idea why the chicks are dying at hatch and not pipping at all?
