Quote: Hmmmm.
I have auto turner
humidity- I keep around 30 until lockdown when I increase to 70ish
temps to low- I try to keep my forced air at 100 and my still air at 102
hatch temp-same bator-same temp
Eggs too cold-could that be when Im checking eggs during the hatch after Ive removed several chicks?
Nutritional deficiencies, hereditary, embryological develop, and breeder disease-Several different breeders, I have some of all my eggs but mostly this just happens with shipped eggs. but again, several different breeders.
ventilitation-I keep the vents open and open frequently to check things.
Eggs are usually 6 to 7 days old when I set them.
Can you see a problem with any of my answers. Its been really frustrating opening eggs with fully developed chicks. Most have not absorbed the yolk sack but some have. If I can get this problem figured out, I can have some awesome hatches. Im guessing they are dying in the last 3 days. When I lockdown, I pull the turner out and set it down and remove the eggs one by one and candle them and make my final removals and fill the reservoirs and lockdown until I have a bator full of chicks to put into the brooder.
