Yey!! I figured out it was my Kobo that it didn't like uploading them from!! Hopped on my trustie Mac and hey presto we have photo's of my babies!!

Hey, that was very convincing info regarding those quail eggs.....do they taste like chicken eggs?

I think I need egg hatching intervention people!!! I just purchased more eggs . . . Some OEs and BCMs. I already have a medium and light egg. Should hatch some blue egg layers this weekend and have a green egger still maturing.

I'm really going to only be able to have 7 hens in my small fenced backyard but I am
trying to get a rainbow egg basket of them. . I hope to have eggs for myself and be able sell a couple of dz a week to pay for feed and upkeep.

Anyone know egg-actly how I feel about needing to join EH anonymous?!?!???

if a quail produces 1 pound of eggs to every 2 ponds of food and a chicken produces 1 pound of eggs to every 3 pounds of food. quails must produce 50% less poop than chickens. Just thinking...

My quails poop tiny 1/4" or less round whiteish turds, I am finding they do waste food as I see it under the rabbit pen, so I need to see what sorta feeders to use for quail. They dont drink a whole lot at all, weird. I don't think anyone gave them any grit before though as mine went through the grit and sand immediately!
