I love her page. She has lots of nice birds and good prices, but I plan on taking a break from hatching once these next 2 batches hatch.
By the way, I just found Sally on Facebook.![]()

Addressing hot and cold spots in your Hovabator type incubators:
This is brilliant and not mine, got this tip on another forum: Just turn the top (cover) periodically instead of shifting eggs around.!!
Amazingly simple

Thanks Sally i do believe i have something like that.you know what Mich I just realized that plastic dish is the same as I use for my older chicks ONLY since I found THREE younger babies underneath it one time right under the stupid heat lamp! Thank goodness they were ok! I cant tell you how often they roll dishes over on themselves! I put a rock in one because its all I had. with FF dishes can be such a pain! because you have to clean them daily and you want to switch out dishes and then clean up all at once! I now use those cat dishes..... let me find a pic of the cheap 2 buck double dish.... walmart special lol NOTE the high center on top? that prevents it to lay flat IF it gets tipped over! and the wide base is awesome. I put sand/grit in one side and feed in the otherThank I have babies for sale LOLoh WOW Mich! YAY!!!! beautiful girls!! I almost missed the pipssqueaks looking at the hens! LMAO! Wondering why I just sold all four of my babies!!!!!Hey Sally glad you are back.......I wouldn't buy those eggs either. Eggs from a hatchery are sometimes 7 days old when they collect. Like Sally said find a breeder locally. Thanks everyone. I ordered 24 eggs from My Pet Chicken over a month ago. They hopefully ship this week, should I cancel it until I figure out if it was local or not? I don't want to lose anymoreWanted to share, here are my two d'Uccle's who decided to share a clutch. So now I know my splash is throwing solid black d'uccles YAY![]()
Me too that was dinner.p.s. Ms Steak i still love your name lol![]()
