Day 2. No deaths. I'm guessing I lost about 30 total. I quit counting. After I lost 8 chicks one day with the Sulmet I went back to the corid. I noticed yesterday that several of my mid size chicks are missing too. I don't know if its hawks or sickness. Anyone. Things are looking up.

i have my birds in dog cages couse im in the proses of building a chicken coop for them, well the coop has gotten delayed and this mornig when i went to feed them i saw what i think is blood in the stool.

i am am worried now any one knows what it can be.

they look fine and healthy. yet not laying eggs, i thought its because they are in the dog kennel. realy hope they are not sick

I just had a chicken drop an egg without a shell as I was watching it. The other chickens gobbled it right up.

I think this chicken may of brought the disease to my others. I just bought her before this happened. Now I'm really wondering.

And I have another sick chick. She's losing her feathers/hair on her head and neck and looking real poor. I can't get her to eat or drink. I'm removing her from the rest.

Just missing seems predatorish to me. Are they fenced in to where they couldn't wander? I would think hawk. Glad you don't have more deaths.

do they have their head drawn in close to their body and do their feathers look fluffed up?

Happy Fathers Day Doug.

Glad to see things turned the corner. What a nightmare.

A year from now, you will have your child on your hip counting chickens.

Was the day you gave the Sulmet the last day you lost a lot of chicks?
