I think these are kinda cool looking. They are Rhode Rocks. I have the HRIR, but I will need to get some Barred Rock hens.

Ack!!!! I have a Lavender Ameraucana that is externally pipping the wrong way.

. I've open it's air hole and it seems like a strong willed little thing. I was careful and there's only a little blood so I think it is doing well and pretty far along in being ready to hatch. I'm going to bed now that I've open his breathing area and will check him again tomorrow to see if he needs help. I hope it makes it. I got a lavender split (black chick) last time and I really want an actual lavender Ameraucana chick. It looks to be the lavender color too.

. Send positive thoughts please!!! I've got a couple others that pipped internally too.

Its pipped the wrong end? They shouldn't have any blood at the "zipping" stage because that's After they have rested/absorbed.

off to get tails docked... Thank God they have no rear dew claws! Hate that part they scream for that, tails not so much! Wish me so I don't puke at the vet, my goal was to do them myself with guidance from a local breeder but she is on vacation! I am thinking good thing eh? HA Have a great day all!

see is that image coming up and covering this? [/quote] nope not covered. :) quick question..not sure if you remember my problem with having too many eggs (really IS there such a thing? Ha!) anyway..now I'm worried will having them all in egg cartons and just using a book from side to side be sufficient turning?
