awesome! how are they now?I didn't leave them with the other chicks. I separated them. You can see their siblings sleeping and they are beginning to fluff.

Y"AY!!!!We lost power for about 3 hours and humidity went up to 81 heat went down to 97 but its back where its saposed to be.i also hear peeping coming from eggs in the incubator so excited I just looked and its day 19 but we have at least 5 eggs with pips so yay
Question I cant use hen saddles as its too freaking hot, what on earth should I do for these brahma hens, they are starting to look a mess the poor things! Will they bleed on their backs too?
Quote: Cant tell which ones are which anymore.
coolOk so I looked this morning and out of the six that have piped they are doing fine two have broken out and are now resting and drying so I'm very happy the one that piped wrong is half way through so I'm very happy and we have one very active chick walking around almost dry and making noise yay
3 daysQuick question today is day 20 and the first chick is hatched and walking around very well how many days is the limit for leaving it in the incubator because some haven't even pipped and I realize some take up to 25 days I don't think I can leave this chick in there for 6 days so what I'm asking is what is the limit
to be honest though, I left mine in there 36 hours because I went on a trip and they were fluffed up and doing well, but very thirsty/hungry when I took them out and gave them moistened chick starter and water.3 days
