My mom just got my sister one of them! My concern is keeping the hose clean, I can see it on a porch but not where I use mine. I would love one to have to hook to the sink to fill up the fish tanks with warm water!
cool! Here is an article in Shape magazine, it's good to know people are coming around http://www.shape.com/weight-loss/food-weight-loss/7-things-you-didnt-know-about-eggs?page=1
CRAP! I actually did take those images of ours! I forgot about them, Nifty-chicken is working on my coop page because its locked up for editing so I wasn't able to do anything but I can post on here in a second, plus I have a few other ideas in my idea folder! uploading for you!!! sorry and I LOVE THIS COOP ITS VERY VERY gorgeous!!!I just purchased this extra large dog house and I'm converting it into a backyard coop. The two side and over the entrance windows will have hard wire over them and I plan to make a front door that closes and locks to shut them in at night. Since I am in FL, I do not intend them to stay in there for long periods even in winter time and they have free range of the entire fenced backyard. Along the back and one side wall will be the high roosts with two nesting boxes on the other side. One of the pics is one of my full size hens so you can see what it looks like to scale. I feel 5-6 can sleep comfortably in there over night. They pile on top of each as it is right now.I plan to buy a second of of these to house my grow outs and smaller sized birds. It will have a run attached to the coop to keep them all safe. It rained heavily a little bit ago and it was all dry inside. I plan to do sand somehow in the bottom to take care of the poop and just scgoop it. This was regularly $250-300 but I paid less than $100 including shipping because it was a return. Its never been used.
Sorry it's foggy because it has just finished raining.
And last, does this look like a fertile or non-fertile egg to you?
Thanks!
