Yes in moving the eggs around. I do that at least twice a day and turn them two to three times a day. Right now I have the temp at 102 and the humidity is 43%. Will a fan make humidity lower too? Can I put something like that rid x stuff in there to pull out moisture or is that toxic to them?Kay I only lower it a degree when I see an external pip. 100 is too low it has to be 102 top of eggs, I DO HIGHLY suggest you add a fan, either cheap computer or buy one made for it. It really helps with moving that heat and keeping it even. do you move eggs around in the bator during incubation since you have no fan as well? I do it and I have a fan.

What do you mean? Like microwave it dry?try rice from a sealed bag. if you can heat the rice without toasting it you should be able to dry it out further
Heat the rice and put in the bator? I have a rice heat pack and I feel like when I heat it hot and put on my neck it is releasing moisture. Can I heat that and put in bator?try rice from a sealed bag. if you can heat the rice without toasting it you should be able to dry it out further

Gotcha! My bator is running 102 w a 42% humidity with the rice in the bator.no its the surface area of the rice that is needed
