i drill the center of the "bid end" then increase humidity to 65Where do you drill the hole? At the very top of egg? Do you add humidity at hatching time or just it rise to RH after trying to get it down before?

the postal system uses fedex to move their priority mail. with the exception of a few routes in california most mail traveling more than 200 miles gets on a plane to tenneesee then changes planes and head to your sorting facility. living in florida, the eggs you would get from CA, NY or TX will all spend time at 30000 feet. This us what messes most eggs up.I ended up with 6 total chicks this hatch, 4 EEs and 2 SLW. Another one hatched but it had that same bubble on it's head so I had to cull it. This shipped egg hatch rate was 25% since it was 24 eggs. These are the eggs that came from CA to FL and my best hatch so far. I'm going to research bators and incubating and try again later.
I did take a puck of the sticky goo and will post it soon.
Hey guys, I have to rant a bit. I was just looking over craigslist and found 3 of my birds for sale (I sold them last month). This isn't the first time that this has happened and it's driving me nuts. I feel bad for these birds, they don't deserve to be moved around so much. I always question people to ensure good homes, but I guess that's not good enough.
I probably shouldn't breed like I had planned too. I can't keep every bird that I hatch and apparently I can't find them good homes either.
Understand that my viewpoint is probably much different then some of yours. My birds are not just breeding stock, they are pets and I do care about what happens to them once they leave.
I am so glad to see I'm not the only one taking my birds on trips! LOL Love the pic!On a more positive note, look who got to go for a ride yesterday.
It's not a good picture, but there she is. Goosey did great in the car. She wore her diaper harness and simply sat on a pillow talking to us while I drove. She honestly didn't even seem nervous. She was too busy enjoying her time with us. The girl sitting next to her is my sister.

I remember this story, and it's so sad... I'm sorry Sumi. I don't understand how anyone could do that...
I'm tempted to buy my birds back, but I really shouldn't. It's risking disease, and 2 of them are roosters. I already have too many roosters.
