i do have a question for those out there who may have dealt with it.
i have a buff orp rooster who has been fortunate enough to get bumblefoot in both feet. i had noticed a while back that his feet were large, but they were the same size so the thought of bumblefoot didnt even cross my mind. i operated on the worst foot the day before yesterday - most of the pad of his foot was infected tissue. today he is walking on it without a limp again, and im thinking of doing the second foot.
i guess my questions are:
i may have to reopen both feet; im doing what i can to keep him clean, but it is by far the largest wound i have seen - am i just wasting my time, i do have a suitable replacement growing.
if would opening the second foot so quick put to much stress on the already opened foot?
Y'all are too funny, LOL! I can relate. 9 years in the Army and a broken everything at some point I thinkMind over matter.... just like childbirth! I really wish we could just lay an egg and stay home a few weeks to snuggle it - how cool would that be![]()

I agree - dont you hate it when people on ebay flat out lie. Marans eggs that are dark as walnut and mis-spelled Ameraucanas as blue as a robin egg.No, and especially not a picture of one. Every time I take a picture of my blue or olive eggs the color looks washed out, and way lighter than they look in person.
