OK, so here is a new question for you... I have 3 Breda eggs. They are only on day 5, but since I was candling others I decided to shine a light down on them and see if I could see any development. All 3 have veining (these are local eggs) but one had no air cell and the center of the vein mass was at the top. I was confused so took it out to examine it more closely and found the small end had a spider web of cracks on it 
and a large air cell in the small end. I had to turn it over to drip the candle wax on it and the mass got shifted all around inside trying to float to the other end. I was conflicted as to which end to put up when putting it back in the bator but decided I should leave it large end up/air cell down since that is how it had been developing. I realize the prospects for this egg are not good. I only had 4 and hand carried them home. When I got home one was cracked too badly to be repaired and I didn't see these cracks at all since they were at the wrong end. I am figuring the %&*^(*&^*&^ speed bump that I didn't see on the way home is responsible for the cracked eggs. The shells are very thin on these eggs as well so that doesn't help. Anyone had one like this? Did it survive to chickhood?
