i hope everyone is having a wonderful turkey day. every thanks giving i have to watch "Son-in-Law", the whole turkey scene is hilarious.

man.. food coma.. and all I can think about is my eggs!!

I have just ordered a 2nd incubator so I can set these babies tonight and have a hatcher for lockdown.

My current bator is a forced air (99.5), and the hatcher will be still air (102) for lockdown. Is there anything wrong with that?

awe! I feel good! I stuck to my LC diet very well by staying home with my sick girly. She is getting so much better thank God, so scary.

"Son in Law" is an old Pauly Shore movie. they send him in to kill the thanksgiving turkey - he ends up running from it, howling like a wolf. the turkey falls over from the noise he makes.
they take it inside and start to pluck it - and it "comes back to life" in the house.

i just remember it from my college years. Pauly Shore is so much funnier when your surrounded by smoke. im kind of like you now, other than Duck Dynasty - chickens have consumed my life. it is so "unsettling" watching my OEGB's go down the road, but its part of a bigger project. i guess it will make everything easier to move too.

we went to the new place today to check on things. i couldnt believe it - someone stole our mailbox! at first i thought they may have hit it with a snowplow - but its gone without a trace. we havent moved in yet, and already had 2 things stolen (electric pole too). i did put up some game cameras to try and catch whoever it is, i figure they will probably take them too.

You know last fall I swear my hospital stay for pneumonia was from aspirating my water during a Duck Dynasty show! If I hear him watching it, I will sit! LOL

When I bought a house years ago, the day I moved in the outhouse was gone as was all the stained glass above the doors, transoms or whatever they are called? In the end it was the previous owner who felt she owned them.

Trail cams work! Our tree farm guy has several because of all the kids stealing xmas trees!

this was empty land when we bought it. but its on a county line- neither sheriff's department will do anything about it. its time for me to be known as that crazy guy with the big shotgun and lots of bullets. i have that reputation here - its funny teenagers slow down when they pass my house for fear of what im going to do if they drive fast here.

last summer there was a guy walking down the road, he stopped and talked to my neighbor who was working on his car. this guy was kind of "shifty" looking, so my neighbor warned him about me. he told him that when my dogs bark (especially after dark), i come running out the door with a gun. well sure enough about dark on the same day, he walked back through - my dogs barked and i ran out with a gun. i didnt even make it out the door before i heard him screaming "im your neighbor from down the road, dont shoot!"

i sit out on the front porch with one of my guns about one day a week. while im out there i will stand up and shoot the gun once into the bank by the house. its nice to be thought of as crazy

, of course i kind of look the part too.


a dad with 4 daughters and 1 bathroom! this picture was taken last thanksgiving after i trimmed my beard. its grown out more now.
