Yes I dry hatch too so you are doing good- it is nice to be able to have time to correct the water levels.
I currently am incubating chickens, dry hatch- they are in the laundry room, so should be moist.
Lol I too have my bator in the laundry room

Wrong temps especial low will do you in everytime, go back and read the temp section again in the hatching 101 article. I tried to explain why and stuff in that article.
you may end up with a few days later hatch and big wet chicks from running at 100, but perhaps that you caught it you can turn it around by removing that water. ARE YOU SURE your hygro is on the money?? I would suggest investing in a fan, thats just me. Have you rotated eggs around in the bator every couple of days, in a still air you will have hot and cold spots.
dont leave it up high long, keep it at 102... sorry your having such an issue with keeping it steady!! uggggg I dont know what to tell you, perhaps next time the empty spaces can be filled with something that retains heat and can fill up space to keep a steady temp???The temperature keeps getting into 104 105 they should be fine right?
If the core temperature of the egg reaches 104 it will harm the embryos, but it takes awhile for the core temp to go up, so for shorter periods it will not harm them, but it may result in an earlier hatch. Try and get it down a little, if you can. Have you measured the temp all over the incubator to check for hotter/cooler spots? The temperature keeps getting into 104 105 they should be fine right?
