LOL I have to chuckle, when I am researching incubation, reproductive stuff and such on Google I am forever running into our own thread!

Sometimes I realize we already researched what I am looking up and then I read back through our own thread again. Did I mention white cells on the brain?

Ok on the egg weight loss issues we are all having!! HOW ABOUT Adding a HOLE IN THE EGG AS A LAST RESORT?

READ HERE creating holes (that can then be closed again with tape), and covering a small part of the shell with paraffin

YAY!  But I am still very worried about the assisting 9 eggs!  what was up that they needed help?  big wet chicks or malpositions or pipped and didnt come out?

I hope the yolker makes it :(
Oh Sally. Remember that I was worried of the air cells. Well I missed calculated they were on day 16 so I increased the humidity a little to. Late.lol.bu you guys have taught me so much that I was able to see my mistake and correcting with assistance. One polish still struggling with yolk sack.it doesn't move, just see it breathing. Fingers crossed.

I am not looking for heritage birds here. I just want to start with some that I can hatch.

These look viable

I ended up with 40 turkey eggs for 114 delivered

Candled my eggs yesterday and I'm on day 15... Eggs seem to be "sloshy" if that makes sense. Had a problem with the stupid styro bator. My temp was at 105 for about 15-20 mins!! Eek!! :( I still see vaining but I'm afraid they may be dead. Should I let them continue and then check on day 18 b4 lockdown? So upset. I've never had my heat get to high.

Give them time. I don't think they were hot enough for long enough. Veining is a good sign.
