what breed is that roo.Mine looks similar and must weight around 12 pounds. Yet I think he is a mix

He is one awesome roo. Don't fight the young roos takes care of them all in the cold. But his feet are all twisted from the weight or maybe from his other home.

I would lock them down tomorrow night, But you can candle tomorrow night and look for internal pips.  Definately lock down with internals and definitely if you see draw down meaning the air cell will dip significantly more down the probably pip area and the back (higher part of air cell) usually shows some bulge into the cell from the change of positioning inside the egg. If you see the change lock them down

I had similar symptoms for most of my eggs I would try and hatch 100 yards from the shoreline.

I have a small dehumidifier in the bator room that is just 5x10.

I can now keep the humidity at 40% in that room. Last hatch was 87%

Definitely go dry in your winter

I'm thinking that's what it is. I dried out the incubator and upped the temp a little to help them respire more water (I was incubating at about 99.5 which I know is a little low) and I managed to have six of them hatch out pretty well, the rest were just too wet. I thought it was wierd that my air cells were suddenly so consistently small. I'm in a quandry about the turkey eggs though, I feel trepidatious about incubating them dry. I might just wait for the turkeys until the weather warms up and the AC is running.

Thanks for all the suggestions though, it helps to have such great support.

That looks like an unabsorbed yolk sac. Not sure what to do about it, never had much luck with them surviving. If you do have luck with it, please let me know what you did .

Just wanted to let everyone know about this wonderful coop I just got. Its by a company called New Age Pet. Its composite and I didn't have to pick up the first tool to put it together. It took us (me and the two pre-schoolers) about 30min to put it together and its big enough to house 4 LF birds but light enough that I can pick it up and move it anywhere. I highly recommend them.

It took me forever to read thru all the posts I missed yesterday. Air cells are much better and humidity will be upped later today. I think they will make it.

I had more than my share of malpositions, I stopped counting! Lesson Learned from now on, no H2O before day 10 and never tilt the entire bator as a short cut, pooorrrrr brahma I must get this new bator together fast when the parts all arrive! The brahma are hatching FINALLY and most have pips EXternals at this time.... now I need to recalibrate that dumb thermometer! I cant win! I WANT MY OLD ACCURITES BACK!
