So an internal pip with be like a little arrow? Because this morning upon candling to locate the lowest point of the air cell I saw like a large shadow looking thing in egg #2 the faster duck and two of the tiniest bantam eggs. Those eggs are the smallest chicken type eggs I've ever seen
yup, I took a video see my post! I have one silky internally pipped!

see how big the air cell gets when they turn and pip and start to absorb??? pretty cool aint it!!

Early day 19 (shipped initially loose air cell, set after 12 hours and turned upright in the cabinet cooler incubator right from set) Silky embryo in position for hatch and with internal pip (NOTE: NO EXTERNAL YET!)
That's awesome. Oh and my dh suddenly got motivated to modify my box with a light and plexiglass.

That is SO COOL!!!!!!!

OMG! My dh just called me asking if the eggs should be moving. I said no. So he answered well one of the big eggs is rocking and vibrating on it's own. What's wrong with it? I actually jumped for joy inside Walmart as I quickly told him it was starting to hatch!! No peeping yet but ladies and gents I may be the momma to an Ancona duck by the end of the day!!!!!!

I have a broody that I put a few eggs under. She was out just now so I looked and had one egg pipping and cracking shell. Should I leave the chick there if it hatches? Or should I bring it inside. It is a community hen house with 13 other hens.

Took your advice and discarded our rolling air cells... took some video and photos first because I can't help myself lol.

Photo of one of the eggs after shell is peeled back. My friend who is incubating with me said the shell literally just peeled off - wasn't connected to the membrane like at all.

My Brody hen hatched 9 babies over the weekend! They are all so precious! A few mutts and some Easter Egggers!!

I had just added the bantams so that's why the temps are low.
