Diary & Notes ~ Air Cell Detatched SHIPPED Chicken Eggs for incubation and hatching

Day 14 is technically tomorrow but I candled tonight as I had some peace and quiet in the house...

FOR MY NOTES, Silky Duck:
9 remaining from clear pulls are all viable and amazingly veined & active
The loose air cell has reattached and is strong when layed sideways. (WAS IN TURNER from set!)

Silky duck air cells are starting to finally get bigger! Two are sorta small I think, but I am working on them!
I started quickly sponging them with a warm damp sponge about 6 x a day , perhaps overkill, but its actually working!
I AM NOT cooling eggs at all, I sponge them as they sit in the tray and then close the door.

NOTES: I have NOT washed cuticle off, just dab with sponge, nor have I sanded them.
I am running dry in the cabinet bator as I have with all other eggs that have been hatching.
Room humidity range 15%-22%

If they were chicken eggs and looked this good at this point I would say "I got this in the bag" but knowing the issues with weight loss I wont count my duckies yet!
Prayers for these little sweeties! @Gardeningmama @chicksooner @cochins1088
But look at the nice veining!! beautiful! everyone of them!

Not hatching anything at the moment, but this summer definitely. Mostly just browsing around, brushing up my knowledge, you know. Getting ready.
So excited for my first hatch! I've raised chickens for years, and not once yet have I hatched my own. Definitely can't wait. :)
