Question, how many days incu until you see viability in a goose egg? Look at the weights on them! Holy omlets! I set them noon tues, I had to candle them ha ha ha Image was when I added them to the bator, I gave them the color purple just because.

Nice I could see veins in the two viable one I've had by days 4 and 5. But I could really see stuff on day 7.

Oh hey so I have 2 Ancona ducks due Sunday and one is drawing down and pushing up. Should I move it to the hatcher. I also have a mixed breed duck due next Friday or Saturday (my dh erased my chart) but it's egg is super full and starting to dip. Any advice?

This is the dipping egg.

And the one that is due next week.

With a bright enough candler you should be able to tell if they're viable day 5.

But don't toss them if you don't see something, give them at least until day 10.

@foxvalleyfarm you can move them with draw down, just run humidity at 55% until first pips then up it.
