I only store like that if I am holding more than 7 days, I have no issues, what issues did you run into? I did notice air cells are in fact smaller but I also add a damp towel to the large closet daily for humidity. Not sure what I am going to do when it gets really hot out and I will have to find another storage spot because that room will also get hot with weather.I am curious about this new method of storing eggs pointy end up? They are not supposed to be shipped pointed end up, thats just for storage after 7 days, common sense tells us that air cell will want to move upper most and do anything it can to get there, I always use the dates written on the end of the egg or a trace of air cells so when I bubblewrap I can remember which way goes up because at first I would forget halfway through bubblewrapping, I wonder if this is what they did by accident.Sally just received shipped pheasant eggs and some were pointy end up. But air cells were a tad jiggly
I had a malpositiond duck. I cant see it making it.I have tried my best and thats all I could do but trying to find the ****** beak I did nick a few places on the membrain. It has no shell trying to find it and I did use the charts on your link but its beak was in middle of egg. I have it wrapped in a damp paper towel now in a cup. I feel so bad for it.![]()
