OK got a better light ;-) pulled 5 EE eggs because they were definitely scrambled, could see the blood rings pretty plain. Still a couple I can't see into real well while at least a couple show definite signs of life. Pulled 2 Marans because I could see blood rings. Most of the rest I can't see anything real definite in, but one was moving! so hope for more. And just as I thought all 7 banty eggs are jumping for joy ;-)
awesome!

D: oh I'm sorry to hear about all those eggs! I candled mine this morning and they all seem to be doing fine except for one... It had veins and everything just like the others yesterday, but today it has zero veining and it's not moving and it looks very different from the others... It's dead right? Should I break it open, or leave it in?

I am not sure Sparky! I left the questionable ones in and Harmony eggtopsied the others, she took pics but I didnt look at what she got yet, she did just what I told her to do though. Good kid! she was totally thrilled to see the polish white eggs that are alive! you can REALLY see the viens and even recognize parts! so awesome to see them move, but I told her that I dont have a "cool" candler its a hot bulb and plugs in so she cannot candle too long, real quick look and done.... will put the card in from the camera and see what she came up with pics wise!

expert help needed. I had a website bookmarked but can't find it now. Had pics of egg from start to finish. The first pic was of the egg yolk that showed the fertile spot. Like a white bulls eye or something. Anyway. Little guy had 3 eggs scrambled this morning and I examine each one for the bulls eye and 2 of the 3 had it so I wanted to double check with pics. If they are fertile Mr Rooster is still able to do his job even with a bum leg.

well comparing all 4 eggs that I have cracked 2 had no visible white spot and the other 2 had the white spot that looked like a bulls eye. These have not been incubated but straight from the nest to the fridge. All of the pics I have seen have been day 1 as well. Good question. Now I am wondering...
