BCM x COMMETS ~~~ ONE IS ZIPPING as of 11am check~~~

these are Chads from BYC eggs from the chickens that the neihbors dog killed!!!!!

If he wants them I am giving them to him IIFFFFFFFFFFFF they hatch!!! REMINDER they were in lockdown with all the other eggs and had several days to go!!!

I went down at 11am and one egg had about a .5 inch zip! then went to check around 12 and he was running around knocking everyone else over, bowling!! he is black... Now I went down again and two other blacks are zipping and a WHITE I see a WHITE ZIPPING!!!

Well, before I pulled away some of the veins it looked like there wasn't any more veining because I had watched it get absorbed but as soon as I pulled some away it bled a few drops, but it didn't look like enough to kill her. She was breathing but some blood ran down near where her beak was... I was up all night checking on her and she was perfectly fine at 2 am but at 6 when I checked again she was gone... Idk what happened... I didn't wet the membrane afterward so I guess that was a problem. And she looked shrink wrapped and in the wrong position so there wasn't much hope for her anyways. And awe I'm sorry Mary on my hatch this summer they don't start peeping till day 22 and 23 so maybe yours are just late? And Sally I hope all your chicks hatch! And get well soon!

yay! a little bright spot today after spending the morning cleaning up after the dog attack yesterday and tending the wounded survivors.

Have at least 3 pips, one bantyX and two BCM! yeay! excited on those! Don't see anything on the EE yet. and of course I have to leave home in a bit for a couple of hours. would be fun to come home to some peepers tho!
