Diatomaceous earth question

DE is just dead microorganisms. As you can see, many question its ability to do anything. I don't use it myself because I've found it to be ineffective for...well, anything. I wouldn't worry.

I think you are referring to food grade DE tho, the one they sold me was the pool grade which I heard was poisonous to livestock and humans-
