Notice originally I said controling them not eradicating them. She has a week until eggs hatch. I can treat properly then. I used the peppermint only as a surface cleaner on the parts of my garage the mites were hanging out not in the coop. I have used strictly neem oil/water and DE in the coops. Still none in the garage or in the main coop.
You’re not the first and won’t be the last to assume DE works. It’s a common theme for some reason. I guess people find something on the internet that says it works so everyone assumes it does. I’ll agree half the people saying it doesn’t work probably never even tried DE but I definitely have along with all sorts of other things.
As stated many times over now. It has worked for me.. I don't know why but that is straight up how I did it.. I'm sorry but your words won't change that.

You can also try making a miniature voodoo doll of the mites. Each time you jab it a mite will fall off so I’ve heard anyway..no guarantees.
