So, I say mine is YES FOOD GRADE - again, call the manufacturer before deciding - they would know

I was fortunate to find food grade DE at the local Organic Ranch and Garden Store. You might try that.

Am very new to raising chickens. Just got my first group last wednesday. I have 2 buff orp, 2 barred roc, 2 RIR, 2 australorps and 2 golden laced wyandottes. I haven't heard of DE or what I need to do with it. Can you explain?
