LOL I cannot remember what line(s) he has. I finally ordered some eggs from him and don't want to bug him AGAIN!

I love the look of his birds!! I have been dragging my feet for a year deciding who to buy from. The birds are his. Dick is a talented breeder. He makes the breeding choices and decisions. At this point, it doesn't matter what his foundational lines were. They are his birds now and they are quite nice, to my eye.
KITTLE!! LOL thank you. It was stuck in my brain and couldn't find it.Wilford Kittle. Mr Kittle has bred Reds for 75 years with an eye as much to production as to the Standard. Since these two gentlemen live close to each other and work together, it would seem, I'm sure they've collaborated.
But again, the Horstmans are leaders in the poultry clubs and leaders in breeding several breeds.
I have the Kittle line of birds and yes, they do lay eggs. They were featured in the Red Chronicle, the national Reds club magazine last spring.
Lol, I feel the same way when I order from my old school poultry judge/master breeder (they don't want you to keep calling them cause it may make him mad cause of old age). Not his fault, but I noticed older people either they don't remember or they hate it when people ask to many questions. I hope when I am old I won't be grumpy..
