Reading this thread makes me:
1. Want to buy the best Bator for the money - Dickey
2. Makes me excited for the new owner
3. Reminds me of Christmas Time
Congratulations! set it up and run it for two days, record temps and humidity ever few hours...add some full bottles of water to simulate volume in the bator, just so you are heating something other than air.
Doing this before the eggs are placed will give you a chance to see how the bator reacts.....

Best is in the eye of the beholder .... but there is no doubt that, $ for $, the Dickey is the one I'd buy.
Best is much more subjective, because on many levels there are incubators that are much better than both of the above.
Kinda depends on what you want.
