I have a RIR pair from Julie's eggs my broody hatched this winter. I an thinking about putting that RIR pullet in with Red as soon as she starts laying.

you could also put that roo over some buffs that would be cool or over some or reds daughters if you have any extra ? this project is so awsome ! or just breed them true and get a few RIR pullets to put in with red? what ever you do it will be totally cool this is a great project !!!!

Well, she used to when she was younger, but now, she's not all that thrilled with me following her with a camera.

Henry, my big red roo is right now in with his haren of buffs that I hatched from Jody last spring. I have alot of eggs waiting to hatch.

Yes, Angie, Meg has white skin/legs. There is a reddish wash down the fronts, like RIRs have, but they are definitely white legs. Here are pics of her at a younger age that show her legs a bit.
