Did anyone buy anything in Lebanon?

Horsechick : The 2 buff silkies she got were from the person with the two turkeys walking around, the ducks and the bunnies. She said they were in good condition. She's hoping to breed them to her black or splash silkies. She looking for a pair of white ones, she found a pair that were in the show she wanted to buy but couldn't find the owner

they were really pretty. You should really try and make it next year. It was really fun even though I didn't get anything on my white leghorns or showmanship.

The GLW was the first bird I saw that I wanted. I drooled over her a couple of times, glad someone bought her. She was huge! My two Buff Brahma Bantams are doing well. They are cuties. So glad we went.

Sat was the first time I've ever been to a show. I saw a lot of birds that I really liked in the show barns. I know this will sound like a really silly question, but how would I go about asking someone if their show birds was for sale? Is their a name on the cages or just numbers? How would you track them down?

OR could you just leave your name and number on some paper on the cage?

Thanks. Just not sure of the social etiquette when it comes to shows and sales.

The guy with the turkeys, bunnies and ducks is the guy I ended up talking with for a while. (of course his daughter probably wasn't thrilled because she had to do most of the packing up on her own)

Next year the BYCers that go need to were like bright orange shirts or something. I wished I had met another person out there

I looked all around!

I saw your SLW and the tag that it was sold. I am green with envy! LOL I bought a young SLW pullet at the end of the same cage where the Sebrights were and I talked my granddaughter into buying a SLW rooster (instead of a rabbit) from a friend of the "red trailer" setup. I think the 4H girl's name is Shauna (sp?)? We bought some hens from her last year.

Now we are looking forward to the show in Bloomington, coming up. But, is there a show in Columbus?

Epona4 : I believe you could leave a note to the own seeing if they were for sale. Or you could look at the exhibitor number and then ask the desk (which was in the open show barn) If they could give you the name of the person who has the bird you where looking at. (I really wanted one of those call ducks really REALLY bad)

I don't like orange either. I like the blue a lot better. I wore a john deere hoodie. There were so many people there. I think we need to do something to find each other.

I can't wait until the next show. I will be going to Bloomington with my Ameraucanas. I am excited, because I will have my blues to show. My son will show the blacks.

I'm sorry. I'm originally from Ohio, so I forget about Columbus Indiana and don't think to put the "Oh" after Columbus! The show in Columbus OHIO

is Nov 8-9.

Now, when and where is this show in Bloomington?? I'd much rather go to Bloomington. Much nicer drive!! Plus my sister works at IU so I could visit her (and my niece and nephew!) as well!
