Did anyone set September 2nd/3rd? I could use hatching buddies!

I have made up my mind. Bargain has packaged 4 shipments for me and all have arrived safe. The way she packs is that the box can can lay on 5 of the 6 side without them being upside down so you stand a better chance of them not being pointed small end up for very long. Out of 24 eggs set to hatch Friday 15 made it. They traveled from Georgia to north Idaho. Over 2600 miles. If I get eggs they need to be packaged her way or I will not buy. I know many will tell me to pound sand but that is OK. I don't need them all scrambled

I have 24 more set and haven't candled them yet but will bet they are some wigglers in there

Out of 24 shipped eggs, I put 17 into lockdown. Most of them are too dark to candle, so I have no idea how many actually made it, but these are the ones that weren't cracked, exploding, or stinky. lol. I got home from work today to have my 12yo son come running out to say a whole BUNCH of chicks had hatched!!! Counted them up, and I have 3 BCM's, 2 wheaten Penedesencas, and 2 partridge Penedesencas.

2 more are rocking and rolling, and when I checked my bator, I found an Ameraucana egg had pipped as well, so I hurriedly threw it in the hatcher. I totally forgot that I had an Am egg that was showing it was with my shipped eggs in development instead of with the others I bought that day. I think he accidentally gave me one from under his broody hen.

I found another cracked a few days after setting them. I suspect my 3yo somehow got in there unsupervised.

I have heard great things about Bargain, though, and if I need eggs in the future, she is definitely one of the first people I will contact!

Went on lockdown this morning with 6 eggs! (Sadly I lost one more). All were well this morning, man they are lively too! I heard the eggs rattling a bit in the incubator and I'm expecting pips either tomorrow or Friday!

Good job everyone! Those who have hatched chicks should post some pics!

Mine went on lockdown this afternoon. Im expecting them on Friday cant wait

but i wonder I'll be at school will they die if they stay in the incubator i have around 99.5 to 100 degrees. The humidity is fine i have the LG.

Its pretty stuffed in there. 46 eggs i hope they all make it!
