Did Diane Sawyer make anyone else mad this morning?

Diane Sawyer ALWAYS makes me mad. Unlike some of the other morning hosts, her early background is some of those defunct tabloid evening "news" magazines.

The only reason I ever see that show since Charlie Gibson left is because it comes on right after our best local morning news show with the most relevant weather reports. Otherwise I'd never see her at all.

i just cant stand Nancy Grace.
i hate that fake accent . she carried on about haylee or casey anthony or what ever it is for 2 years. she'll be talking about the Michael Jackson "Homicide"( whatever ) case for ten years, never getting new information. some analyists never stop.

I think that journalists get off of feeding the flames and adding coals to the fire. It evidently keeps the ratings up. People really like to watch others suffer, otherwise, they'd turn it off. Everyone's different and everyone deals with things differently, but I just don't watch that crap. But then again, I can't watch those anti-cruelty commercials either. Seriously, I change the channel - every time.

However, I disagree that the dog thought the baby was a toy or a puppy. That child suffered really serious injuries as a result of being taken. If you've ever seen a dog pick up a puppy, you know that they don't collapse lungs and cause all the injuries that the dog inflicted on the child. That dog mauled the child. He knew very well it wasn't a toy.

I also believe the parents to be highly negligent. You just don't leave a baby alone with a dog unsupervised, let alone a wolf hybrid - you just DON'T. That's just looney. The accounts conflicted so much, that I don't believe any of it. I believe the parents didn't take any steps to keep the baby and dog apart. I believe they got caught in the moment of preparing for their shower, and we all know that two minutes doing something can turn into 15. It just happens. So I think they left the child and dog unattended and were wrapped up in what they were doing and didn't have a clue as to what was going on.

The dog could have very well been jealous of the baby. The dog could have very well been agitated by the baby crying. Something else entirely could have set him off. It may have started out innocently enough and turned rough. Dogs should not be left unattended with children. It's just a bad accident waiting to happen.

She IS awful. Listening to her is like listening to one of those little dogs (pick a breed) yapping non-stop. She always aks like the question she's about to ask will be the one piece of information that will save the world, end all wars and feed the hungry children. Talk about self-importance!

LOL at Barbara Walters comment! Good one!

I thought I heard the father said that the door was closed and somehow the dog had access into the child's bedroom.

It is indeedly strange not to hear the baby cry in pain. And did they get a baby monitor. Maybe that is what they are getting for baby shower and it was too late. Oh the horror the party must have when they found out!

I just cant believe That people want to save this Dog, sure the owner was at fault. We on this forum would kill a dog attacking a chicken. This dog wasnt treating the baby as a puppy, but pure prey.
