A couple of weeks ago I got a handfull of straight run Easter special chicks... And I'm just now noticing how much different this chick is looking. I've looked at what Turkey Chicks looked like... And I just don't know. What do you guys think? And I just crazy? Did the feed store mess up? The second picture has one of the chicks next to it as a comparison. If It is a turkey, do I need to separate it? Feed it something else? I just want to double check... I don't want to be raising it wrong if it is a turkey.

Haha, I do believe it is a turkey! In that case, you just scored a $3 Thanksgiving dinner!
Will you keep me updated on pics as it grows? I would love to see what it turns out to be!

It is without any doubt a chicken. There is nothing turkey about it at all. If you want help identifying what kind of chicken it is, post it in the What Breed Or gender is This forum.

Turkey poults have a snood. Neither the chick in the top pic (which clearly has a comb) nor the chick in the bottom right has a snood and are definitely chicks and not poults. The shape of the bill also is not the same as the bill of a poult.

This is what a turkey poult looks like.

None of the chicks in the photos posted by @HarleyHyena
have a snood nor do any of them have the type of beak that a turkey poult has.

I agree. Neither of those birds is a poult.
