Sorry that these are not the greatest pics as they were not taken specifically to get my SS. She is the little one in the background on the first and is about 4 weeks old in this pic

I agree she is VERY cute. Interested to see what she grows in to. Not sure about her being a ss, but hatchery chicks do look SO different sometimes.

She might be a hatchery bird, I'm not sure of her breeding line. The breeder has bred several generations but i have no idea where he got his stock from

Not sure where you get the white breast. The chick in the pic has no breast feathers at all. The last pic in the string of pics is of a SS for comparison... it is not the chick in question.

i see white breast feathers in about 3 different pictures in different places and different positions!!!!!

LOL...All of those pics are not of the chick in question. The birds with the white breast feathers are Speckled Sussex chics that are shown for comparison. The first 9 pics are the one the OP is asking about. It has no breast feathers at all..just down. Even still, baby chicks will not have their true feather coloring for several months. They will molt two or three times before they mature. Black Australoups are solid black birds but a lot of the chicks can have white feathers here and there when the are chicks. Kind of like a fawn has spots but will lose them when the deer matures. Just my two cents....
