We were hoping to keep Queenie and Lil' Red for sure and then see if we could persuade my husband to build a 4th coop and keep King or QT! I'll keep you posted.

If you build a 4th coop you could probably keep the two other cockerels together.

Here's Lil' Red today... getting very roosterish. The others are turning out as predicted

I'm really hoping that lil red is female... she does have wattles but her/his comb isn't as red as king's. We sadly lost QT and Queenie last week. Our breaker blew in a cold snap and I didn't realize for a few hours...I think that's probably what did it.

So sorry for your loss, sad to say I don't like your chances for a female little red either but I'd be happy to be wrong.
