Did I hatch ANY Delaware Roos?

These chicks are 3 weeks old in the pics. I can see very little difference in the the chicks combs.

One chick is developing a very pronouced triangular barring on its back - - - does that indicate a roo or is it just a Fluke?The chick in the lower right corner of the photo has lots of the barring.
The chick right above it has a little barring but not as much the chick who I cut off part of the body with the camera

I am wondering if I hatched all pullets since I can not see any big differences in the combs at this point in time . . . . .

What do you think ? ?

at that age dont try to comb sex just yet you could be wrong

#1 looks rooish to me. Don't fret, or you will get all roos!

Is #1 the same chick with the darker smuttyness on it's back? If so, I'm willing to bet he's a boy.

In my experience with Dels, as they start to feather in the males do tend to have more visible black markings in their hackles and on their backs than their female counterparts. However this isn't 100%.

Del boys do usually get their combs rather quickly too, so give it a week or two and watch those little ones, your boys will start to shine through, I'm sure. I think you've got at least one though.

First of all they are adorable!!!!!!!

I believe that #1 is a roosty.

The comb is looking like it is going to start to take off and take a look at his little wattles that are starting out.

I believe that #2 and #4 are pullets. I'm on the fence with #3 but too me it is looking a little roo-ish.

My Del's are 5 weeks old and I can see clearly who is who. The boys' combs and wattles were very easy to pick out around 3 weeks of age, but I have one little guy who was very distinguishable as a roo at almost 2 weeks of age.

Waiting for more photos, they are so stinking cute. I love my Del's, are you liking yours just as much?
