There was just 1 tomato that Bill gave me that did not ripen.
So it went into the sauce also. My feet got so cold this morning.
Put wool socks on feet are warm again.

Blanching, peeling and freezing???

Actually, making marinara with about 7 lbs, so that should make 7 quarts, and the rest will be canned. The latter will happen tomorrow. And yes, they will be blanched and peeled for both processes.

I have about 2 lbs that are not ripe, so as they do, we'll just use them in cooking or salads.

I took a walk back in the woods looking for chanterelle mushrooms. None to be found.

I do recall that my Ma's last husband and she went to property he had over lake Cushman in the same place a fire is raging just now.
