so i found out a few hours ago that the temp is going to dip into the low 20's tonight. ( we've had unusually warm weather here in NJ for March) long story short I have one 7 month old Cochin pullet so i brought her inside to the garage in fear that there wasnt enough body heat for her to be okay throughout the night. Did i jump the gun or was it necessary to bring her in> ? ( actual coop is 4' by 4' by 4' ) the run is covered with poultry wire 10' by 10' by 6' high

( 3 four week old chicks in the house- cant wait until theyre old enough to go outside!!! )

She'd very probably be OK, by herself in the 20's.
But if she feels better & you'll feel better; what's the harm?
