Did I Ruin My Rooster?

Makes perfect sense! Unfortunately these YouTube children farmers lead you to believe that the more you handle your birds the friendlier they’ll be. Not necessarily 🤷🏻‍♂️. Thanks for the advice!
My hens don't like being picked up, petted or carried around but they love my attention.
I'm not offended if they run when I try to pick them up but some people are. Everyone's different.

Use your observations and judgement to access the situation and do what you can to keep him safe.

Remember you can always let him sleep alone if you have an extra enclosure, preventing injuries is important.
I've seen roosters the hens would have killed had he not been removed. Some roosters they just do not like. Monitor the hens closely .If they start pulling his feathers out get him out.

haha that’s awesome! Mine is still terrified of everyone. He’s too scared to even come eat from my hand. I’m really not sure how to change that.
Friendly Roosters are bolder and quicker to eat out of your hand but they're also the most unpredictable when they reach maturity (in my own personal experience)
