Did my first butchering today- did it the 'grouse' way!

Wonder if just skinning the whole bird wouldn't be almost as easy? I can skin a whole bird pretty fast, could probably get really fast with more practice.
I have the hardest time thinking of my Banties as anything but pets. They're the only chickens I allow myself to feel that way about. I have to get over that mentality if I'm ever going to be able to cull any.
